As Headteacher of Gwêl y Glannau Federation, which includes Ysgol Gymuned Moelfre and Ysgol Goronwy Owen, I am delighted to welcome you to our caring and supportive school community. Our dedicated and dynamic team of teachers goes beyond what is expected, placing a strong focus on the welfare and wellbeing of each child. 

We pride ourselves on providing a warm, nurturing environment where pupils feel safe, valued, and empowered to thrive. Through a rich variety of extracurricular activities, from sports and arts to clubs and community projects, our pupils enjoy countless opportunities to discover new talents and interests.

Our innovative approach to learning is designed not only to challenge minds but also to develop the whole child, fostering resilience, compassion, and confidence. With the guidance of our caring staff and the inspiring new curriculum, we aim to help each child become an ambitious, capable, and ethically informed individual.
