Fair Trade School

At Gwel y Glannau Federation, we believe in fairness, equality, and making a difference! That’s why we are proud to support Fair Trade and educate our pupils about the importance of ethical consumerism.

Fair Trade ensures that farmers and workers around the world receive a fair price for their products, allowing them to invest in their communities, improve their livelihoods, and protect the environment.

Our school takes part in Fair Trade Fortnight every year, where pupils explore global trade, take part in exciting workshops, and enjoy Fair Trade products. We also stock Fair Trade items in our school tuck shop and use Fair Trade ingredients in cooking activities.
